Review from the Reverend(Returntothepit.com) from the reverend word_for_word : though I do dig pizza and all, I back the statement that this band is one of the best bands to come out of this area and I say that knowing that they are still solidifying themselves as a band. each time I see them is better than the last and they are on stage for a longer period of time. I see them becoming big like outbreak in no time. Soon they will be moving out of their first band status, especially as their set list grows. Their set started out the show with a bang. moshing almost immediately began. Johnnie Limits, the singer, rolled over the PA with in the first song or so, but people pussied out on catching him. All that movement raised the temperature to an uncomfortable level already. This is going to be a rough night. especially since I saw a certain member of this board punching someone as that people was trying to help them up off the floor.

Started in 2005 by a group of dudes who just wanted to bring originality into the hardcore scene with a very melodic yet upbeat and deep hardcore sound. Inspired by such diverse bands as Shai Hulud, Death Threat, Chain of Strength, Still Remains, Snapcase, and many others, this band will definitly bring originality into the hardcore scene. ANARTHA (Post-hardcore from Western Mass).

Anartha is a 5 piece hardcore project with influences that include Gorilla Biscuits, 108, Shelter, Sick of it All and Minor Threat. Each member has been involved in the Western Mass hardcore and metal scene since the late 80's and 90's, each playing in various bands and going to local shows. Their strong ties to this era enabled this group to produce a style of hardcore seldomly heard these days. Since the release of their 5 song demo (recorded at Dead Air studios in Amherst, MA), Anartha has begun playing shows in the western Massachusetts area. Recently, the band joined forces with Frequency Deleted Records, a new independent label rising up in the Pioneer Valley.
